APPLY FOR 003

003 — SYNTHESIS is not an open course.
Entry is selective and based on readiness to work publicly, collaboratively, and under institutional conditions. The application process exists to determine whether the programme is the right next step — not to maximise enrolment.


ELIGIBILITY

To be considered for 003, applicants must:

• Have completed 001 — SELF and 002 — OTHER

• Demonstrate sufficient clarity across Self and Other

• Meet the minimum SOS threshold for entry

Progression into 003 is not automatic. Completion of earlier courses does not guarantee admission.


WHAT IS ASSESSED

Applications are reviewed on the basis of:

• Clarity of spatial decision-making

• Evidence of responsible engagement with Self and Other

• Readiness to work collaboratively

• Capacity to hold critique and public accountability
   

Assessment prioritises coherence and judgment over stylistic resolution.


THE COMMITMENT

003 operates as an in-person, residency-style programme held twice yearly (Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer).

Participants are expected to commit to presence, dialogue, and sustained engagement throughout the programme and its public examination, The Defence.


OUTCOME

Admission into 003 grants access to:
 

• A residency-style programme developed in partnership with seasonal collaborators

• Direct mentorship from industry leaders

• Participation in The Defense, TRESDA’s bi-annual public examination

• Entry into TRESDA’s institutional record and certification ledger
